There is a storm brewing!

It seems the south of Sweden is in for a windy weekend.

2005 it was Gudrun, 2006, it was Per and now comes Hugo? SMHI, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute are preparing a warning regarding a new storm, that seems to have gotten the name Hugo.  The warning will probably be a class 2 warning which means winds of ca 25 meters/sec. Risk include damages on buildings, flying objects, risk for disturbances in traffic as well in the power and telecommunications and there is as we know a risk of damaged ancient monuments and remains see posts here and here.

I’ll give a report on Monday when I know the outcome!
